Need an early check-in or check-out: Just call your guest specialist and we can see if it is possible. It may depend on if we have other guests or repairs scheduled.
A Vacation Rental Agreement and fully refundable security and damage deposit are required for stays of more than thirty (30) days. Deposits are dependant on length of stay.
CLEANING: We charge a $75 non-refundable cleaning deposit for daily and weekly rates and $150 for any reservation which is greater than 14days. Short Stay uses eco-friendly/sustainable cleaning supplies. Short Stay supplies the apartments with eco-friendly cleaning supplies including laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, general cleaning supplies, organic TP, 100% cotton sheets, towels, & linens. We will give quotes for cleaning on extended stays. Inside each apartment you will find a washer and dryer, dishwasher, brooms, mops, sponges, and all cleaning supplies for your convenience.
INTERNET & CABLE: We have Free Password Protected WIFI and internet with Comcast and a very fast connection. With up to 900 cable channels including all sports and HBO on our new flat screen TV. We also have DVD and VHS player in all apartments.
FOR YOUNG CHILDREN: A crib, high chair, baby gate, and blow up mattresses (full or queen) are available upon request. Please let us know in advance.
FOR CHILDREN: We have a safe and private fully fenced small side yard. We also have a nice collection of books, games and toys and Disney Channel, and loaners for strollers, baby gates, trikes, and children’s videos. Please let us know in advance for availability.
SELF CATERING: Short Stay Lodgings is a self-catering facility with fully equipped kitchens including a dishwasher, full stove and fridge, microwave, wine glasses, coffee grinder, organic coffee supplied, and stainless steel cookware. Catering and cleaning services are not included but are available upon request for an additional fee by day, week, month, or special occasion. Please book this ahead with your reservation or call if needed.
CATERING: Weddings, Bar Mitzvah, Reunion, Board Meetings, or romantic evenings? Don’t feel like cooking? We work with world class chefs and can arrange for a special night at home or garden party. SMOKE FREE: 910/912 Franklin Street is a smoke free environment. Persons who do not respect this policy may be asked to leave without a refund and also be charged a $250 smoke-removal and fumigation fee. We have a private deck and yard and covered outdoor seating to meet your needs.
PETS: 910/912 Franklin Street can not accept pets for the sake of our clients with allergies. We love pets but we must ask you to honor this policy. Thank You.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY: 912 our downstairs apartment is wheelchair friendly with a large bathroom and wider doorways. The front entrance has a ramp.
STREET PARKING AND OTHER PARKING:
Parking is FREE after 5pm in the evenings until 9am in the mornings.
Parking is FREE on Weekends and Holidays.
There is a FREE two hour parking one time per day between 9am & 5pm on Mondays through Fridays.
Other Parking includes metered parking across the street which is a total of $3 per day for nine hours. Please find a FREE handful of quarters in our French Desk for the meter as needed.
We have one parking space available for guests which is off street and is left available for handicapped and small children on a first come/first serve basis. Please inquire.
Our neighbors can also rent an off street parking space by the week for $55 or by the month for $75.

DEPOSITS AND CONFIRMATION
Upon booking a 50% deposit is a guarantee that we will hold the room for you for the number of nights booked and that you will pay the balance which is due 14-30 days prior to check in.
A credit card needs to be on file for all reservations for incidentals. However, payments may be made by check within 10 days prior to arrival.
Reservations are secured and confirmation is sent via email with the receipt of your 50% deposit.
Deposits for Extended Stay Guests staying 1 to 6 months will require one month in advance and last month stay. All other months are due by the 25th of each month. There is a NO CANCELLATION POLICY on reservations that are 30 days or greater. A credit Card must be on file for incidentals. Please secure travel insurance to protect your self if you should need to cancel.
A full prepayment is due in advance whenever a reservation is made under the following circumstances:
Within 30 days of your arrival date.
For all special event weekends such as Graduation, Arts Walk, and New Year’s Eve
For all reservations made by an international guest (not residing in the USA)
For any third party reservations
Any deposits or payments made for reservations constitutes that you have read and agreed to our policies.
Receipt of your deposit constitutes that you have read and are aware of our policies. We appreciate your reading them and hope you never have a reason to cancel.
Travel Insurance: Short Stay Guests should consider travel insurance because of our strict cancellation policies. Our guests have recommended the following companies to protect both the guest and Short Stay against any unforseen issues such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, illness, or any other personal reasons for cancellation.

For 910/912 Franklin Street - cancellations must be made a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date to receive a refund.
Prepayments and Deposit refunds are subject to a 25% processing fee.
Guests are responsible for all reserved dates. Please review your arrival and departure dates for accuracy upon receipt of your confirmation email. There are no refunds for early departures. However, if we are able to fill the space on those dates, Short Stay Lodgings will then issue you a credit voucher for use at 910/912 Franklin Street which will be good for one year from the date of the original reservation.
An extended stay reservation of more than 14 days requires that the cancellation must be made with a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to your arrival date. Deposit refunds are subject to a 25% processing fee of the deposit. Cancellations with less than the required sixty (60) days notice in advance of your arrival date will forfeit the deposit. However, if we can re-book for those dates at the same rate then we will issue you a credit voucher which will retain it’s value for one year from the date issued.
